Akira “Akiman” Yasuda, the birth of Chun-Li
Before viewing this short documentary about Akita Yasuda, I was familiar with his work but had never heard of him. Akira worked at Capcom for much of his career and is the illustrator who created the character Chun-Li. He has had an amazing career, having worked on many iconic projects and well known companies. The documentary is beautifully shot and does a brilliant job of sharing Akira’s journey and struggles as an artist. I love learning more about the process and points of view of creatives like him. The video is definitely worth the 16 minutes to watch!
