How subjects are shown in the frame and positioned in relation to their surroundings greatly impacts how the audience perceives the emotion and story portrayed on screen.
We can see some deliberate decisions in the example shown here. Where the film maker chose a point of view that made us feel like we were in the scene. And other times, as if we were merely observers.
